Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the MyRun mobile app, website, and related services. By creating an account or using MyRun, you agree to these terms and our App Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use MyRun.

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, to create an account. You must provide accurate information and keep your sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and should contact us promptly if you believe it has been accessed without permission.

MyRun is a running companion. Depending on your device, permissions, location, and plan, it may provide GPS run tracking, pace, cadence, stride, heart-rate and workout analytics; solo and live group runs; spectator maps, chat and reactions; aid-station alerts; synchronized Group Replay and video export; route creation and discovery; community and buddy features; event discovery; share cards; training plans and AI coaching; Apple Watch and Apple Health support; and connected-service imports such as Garmin.

Features may be added, changed, limited, or removed as MyRun evolves. Some features require MyRun Premium, AI credits, compatible hardware, third-party accounts, or permissions that you choose to grant.

MyRun is a fitness tool, not a medical device, healthcare provider, coach, rescue service, or emergency-location service. Metrics, training suggestions, readiness insights, and alerts may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. They are not medical advice and should not be used to diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition.

You are responsible for deciding whether a workout is appropriate for you, observing road and trail conditions, following local laws, carrying appropriate supplies, and seeking professional or emergency help when needed. Stop exercising and obtain medical assistance if you feel unwell or unsafe.

Run tracking uses precise location, including in the background when you allow it. Live and group sharing is opt-in. When you join or share a live run, permitted participants or spectators may see information you choose to share, such as your location, route, pace, and heart rate. Ending your run stops live location sharing, but information already recorded may remain in your workout history or an authorized group replay.

Group chat, reactions, locations, and timing may be recorded so the group experience can be replayed. Do not invite people you do not trust, and do not publish another runner's location or health information outside MyRun without their permission.

Routes, turn guidance, elevation, landmarks, aid-station markers, and proximity alerts may be created by users, imported from images or files, generated with AI, or obtained from third parties. They are planning aids—not guarantees that a path is open, safe, legal, accurately mapped, or supplied with water, food, gels, or medical care. Verify the official course and current conditions before you run.

MyRun may help you discover races and link to information supplied by an organizer. Unless we expressly state otherwise, MyRun is not the race organizer, event host, timing provider, or registration merchant. Event changes, entry terms, payments, refunds, safety, and operations remain between you and the relevant organizer or provider.

AI features may create training plans, workout summaries, coaching insights, route interpretations, images, or other generated content. Outputs can be inaccurate or unsuitable and must be reviewed before you rely on them. AI output does not replace professional medical, coaching, navigation, or safety advice. You remain responsible for the prompts, files, photos, and decisions you make using generated content.

Access to AI features—including access provided through MyRun Premium—is not unlimited unless MyRun expressly says otherwise for a specific feature. To keep the service reliable, secure, reasonably priced, and available to other users, MyRun may apply or adjust reasonable fair-use controls such as per-feature or per-period request limits, token or file-size limits, generation limits, cooldowns, queue priority, and concurrency limits. These controls may vary by plan, feature, model, provider, region, or time and may respond to provider capacity or availability, current model and token pricing, unexpectedly heavy usage, abuse prevention, safety, or service performance.

MyRun may temporarily reduce, delay, substitute, or suspend an AI feature when reasonably necessary for those purposes. Where practical, the app will show an applicable limit or explain when it has been reached. These controls do not remove any non-waivable consumer right or permit MyRun to misrepresent the benefits included with a paid plan.

If you connect a compatible device or third-party service, you authorize MyRun to exchange the data needed for the features you select. Apple, Garmin, map providers, authentication providers, AI providers, and other services are governed by their own terms and may change or interrupt access. MyRun is not responsible for their hardware, networks, data accuracy, or availability. Duplicate detection and workout merging reduce duplicates but may not identify every duplicate or conflict.

You retain ownership of content you create, including posts, comments, messages, photos, routes, and share cards. You grant MyRun a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, reproduce, display, and distribute that content only as needed to operate, improve, secure, and promote the MyRun service according to the audience and privacy choices you select.

You may not post content that is unlawful, threatening, abusive, discriminatory, sexually explicit, deceptive, invasive of privacy, infringing, or dangerous. We may filter, restrict, remove, or preserve content; limit distribution; suspend accounts; and respond to reports or legal requests. Group owners and administrators may remove members; contact support to report content or conduct that violates these terms.

Replays and share exports may combine routes, workout statistics, chat, reactions, avatars, photos, and other participant information. Before posting or distributing an export, make sure you have the right to share everything it contains. Once content is saved to your device or shared to another service, MyRun cannot control how others copy, store, or use it.

MyRun Premium is an auto-renewable subscription purchased through Apple. The price, subscription period, included features, trial eligibility, and billing terms shown in the App Store purchase sheet at the time of purchase control. A free trial, when offered and accepted, converts to the selected paid plan unless you cancel before the deadline shown by Apple. You can manage or cancel the subscription through your Apple ID subscription settings. Apple processes payments and refund requests.

The current Premium plan includes five AI Photo credits for each applicable monthly credit cycle, and eligible trial users receive one AI Photo credit for the trial. Additional five-credit packs may be purchased separately. AI Photo credits apply only to eligible AI Photo generations; they do not represent, measure, or promise unlimited access to AI coaching, training-plan generation, summaries, transcription, route interpretation, or other AI features. Credits are a limited license to use the supported generation feature; they are not money, cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash, and are consumed when an eligible generation is successfully processed. Current balances, renewal or expiration rules, and any applicable generation limits are shown in the app.

You may not misuse MyRun, interfere with its operation, access another person's account, scrape or resell service data, upload malware, evade feature or payment limits, falsify identity or activity data, harass others, use location features to stalk or endanger anyone, or use the service in violation of law or another person's rights.

MyRun and its software, branding, designs, and original service content are owned by MyRun or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. These terms give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service. If you send ideas or feedback, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation.

We work to keep MyRun available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, permanent storage, or compatibility with every device or provider. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, address security or abuse, enforce these terms, or discontinue a feature. You may stop using MyRun and delete your account through the app, subject to any retention described in the Privacy Policy or required by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyRun is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, or safety. MyRun and its owners, operators, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost data, lost profits, personal injury, or losses arising from your reliance on metrics, routes, alerts, AI output, third-party services, other users, or event participation. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

These terms and any dispute relating to MyRun are subject to the laws and courts or tribunals that have jurisdiction under applicable law. Nothing in these terms selects a law or forum that would deprive you of mandatory consumer protections available where you live.

We may update these terms as the service changes. We will post the revised date and provide additional notice when required. Continuing to use MyRun after an update takes effect means you accept the revised terms, except where applicable law requires another form of consent.
